Shake Your Bon Bons is more than candy and baked goods. It is the lifelong realization that I wanted a career where I could use my creativity and make people smile. Getting to use my culinary skills is the icing on the cake. As a child, I would eagerly help my mother in the kitchen every chance I got. In fact, I learned a lot from my mother. My favorite childhood memory is of us (me, my mom & my siblings) getting together with our neighbors and making candy every year at Christmas. My mother passed away shortly after my 15th birthday and I quickly slipped into the role of family chef. In fact, my friends quickly realized that my place was the best place to go for a home cooked meal.
As I got older, many of my jobs have centered around food. I have worked as a baker, barista, pizza maker, burger flipper, shake maker and many other titles. I have been the lowly floor mopper and a store manager and just about everything in between. There were times when I tried to break away from food, but something has always drawn me back to it. After the birth of my youngest son in 2006, the idea of owning my own candy shop began to take form. The following summer, my dream became a reality. Late last year, I completed a certificate program in culinary arts and have gone full time with my business.
When you make a purchase from Shake Your Bon Bons, I guarantee the freshness of every item. I use only time honored recipes, high quality ingredients and a little of my creative spark. Every item is made fresh to order using my 2 hands in my home kitchen. Orders are made as they are received, so I can't promise you the fastest service, but I can promise you fresh homemade goods. I ship Monday through Wednesday using USPS Priority Mail. If you are local, you can even schedule pickup or delivery (Middletown area only, $25.00 minimum order).
Where To Buy:
- Old Roberds Emporium, 1100 East Central Avenue, West Carrollton OH New products dropped off every Thursday. You can place your order online and pick up on location. Orders must be paid for in advance and will be tagged with a "Paid" receipt.
